This mix starts out in a citadel like mansion high atop the city’s skyline where we first enjoy a cinematic view over the things to come, before we tumble out the front door to slither down Silicon Valley Boulevard in an Assegai glider passing by blocks and blocks of monumentally sized retro beats. A mix like a perfect ride Wipeout level, so aware of the past only the piano parts are missing.

Goldie’s ‘Inner City Life’ is the literal golden frame of this mix by appearing in three very different shapes at the beginning the middle and the end of this mix. Connected by a skyline of darkly tinted beats, Public Enemy’s ‘Bring the Noise’ and Opus III’s angel like vocals beam above the scape like parlor screens in the night sky.
