Perfect Roller Mix

Massive attack’s ‘Sly’ in a rare vocal version intros this mix and blends over in a drum&bass track that gets spiced up with some Busta Rhymes lines gliding over into a beautiful Terranova downtempo track. We roll on with the literal ‘Perfect Roller’ track by Falcon and Aqua Sky, until we dip into deeper tracks (ever heard Bad Company mixed into Good Looking ?) and downtempo soulstice. This mix plays with contrasts in blending up and downtempo – oh and there are a lot of east coast rap spices sprinkled all over the place. yummy.

Shadow of a Memory Mix

The intro of this mix explains ways of becoming a ’shadow’ read by the speech emulator of a Comodore Amiga 500, hence its title. We get taken on dub steps by the EZRollers and Ltj Bukem to a wonderful indian drum&bass track by Talvin Singh that was once featured in a Panasonic add in which the track helped conveying two people listening to this track are ‘different’ and of common kind at the sametime. We were then asked to ‘feel the difference’ ourselves.
